As our Staff Accountant (Part-time), you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations, and assisting with financial analysis. Success in the role will come from attention to detail, understanding of the job function and implications, and cultivating strong internal and external relationships. Candidates must be willing to commute to the Canton Office and in this role, you will report to our Finance Manager.

How will you bring leadership to PLAE?
- Complete daily cash applications.
- Responsible for general ledger account reconciliations as assigned.
- Month end journal entries and other closing activities.
- Assist with global commission calculations and statement preparation.
- Maintain accounting records in an organized and efficient manner.
- Team Player – Perform other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.
How will you know you are perfect for this key role at PLAE?
As our ideal candidate you will have at least 2 years of relevant accounting, credentials and skills including:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (finance, business admin, accounting, etc.).
- Proficiency and accuracy with data entry and updates.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to respect and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate team building attitude and skills.
- Ability to initiate, organize, and prioritize workload.
- Experience with foreign currency a plus.
- Strong ERP software application and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with other functional teams and build relationships across all levels and countries within the organization.

Base salary range for this position is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour in addition to the following benefits:
