Controlled force. Relentless output. The ARMR Hip Press is engineered for complete lower-body development with an emphasis on posterior chain engagement. The fixed path and engineered strength curve remove spinal loading while allowing powerful hip and knee extension. Train bilaterally or independently to expose asymmetries and eliminate weak links. Ergonomic in-seat adjustments keep transitions fast and seamless. Foundational strength that carries over to real performance.
Instructions
- Load the weight horns.
- Sit down in the seat with your hips slid to the back of the chair and a neutral spine.
- Adjust the seat position by reaching between your legs and pulling the lever up. Slide the seat forward or backward. The correct seat position allows for your knees to be slightly bent with your feet on the plates.
- To unrack the machine, extend your legs and rotate the stainless handles away from you.
- There are handles next to your hips for you to hold onto during use.
- Begin the set by lowering the weight allowing your knees to travel towards your armpits.
- Use your whole foot to push the plate back out away from you.
- To complete your set, turn the handles back in and lower the weight to the locking pins.
- For Iso-lateral or unilateral training, unlock the foot plate locking mechanism, and follow the same steps listed above.
Foot placement:
- Low: more quads.
- High: more glutes.
- Wide: also works the adductors.
