The University of Cincinnati Campus Recreation Center set out to transform an outdated, cardio-dominated space into a modern strength training environment. The goal was to increase capacity, improve flow, and create a more welcoming experience. This required a full facility rethink, relocating hundreds of machines and updating infrastructure to support a dedicated strength performance area.
PLAE delivered a high performance strength space featuring Achieve flooring, custom ICONx Power Half Racks, and branded bumper plates. A redesigned layout created 21 rack stations, maximizing efficiency and usability. The result is a visually striking, high demand space that expanded strength training access and redefined the student fitness experience.
